This tournament and surrounding events is an open book event.
All funds were managed and appropriated through Crappie Anglers of Texas.

This tournament was a 100% payback plus the addition of sponsorship money. The additional sponsorship money was split 66.5% to the Pro Division and 33.5% to the Amateur Division.
All sponsorship packages included $200 in dinner tickets. That $200 went into the scholarship fund and the remainder to the additional tournament payouts.
All tournament entries included $25 towards the scholarship fund.
Marion County covered the majority of the weekends expenses, and we are had much covered in donations. What was not 100% covered was deducted from the money raised for the dinner event, not from tournament winnings.
Tournament winnings were paid as listed on the Tournament Payouts page.
On November 12, we presented a check to Jefferson ISD for $31,200.76!!!
Jefferson ISD has an application process in place in which they will approve and distribute each scholarship ensuring the money goes towards education in the name of Brian Sowers Legacy.
Here's to paying it forward in Brian's name, giving the next generation "a tacklebox, not an X box" and the tools for life through higher education.
